Dhikr

Bismillah ..

Dhikr is the means by which Stations yield their fruit, until the seeker reaches the Divine Presence.

On the journey to the Divine Presence the seed of remembrance is planted in the heart and nourished with the water of praise and the food of glorification, until the tree of dhikr becomes deeply rooted and bears its fruit. It is the power of all journeying and the foundation of all success. It is the reviver from the sleep of heedlessness, the bridge to the One remembered.

The shaikhs strive to remember their Lord with every breath, as the angels are always in the state of dhikr, praising Allah. One of our shaikhs said, "I remembered You because I forgot You for a moment, and the easiest way for me is to remember You on my tongue." If the seeker will mention his Lord in every moment, he will find peace and satisfaction in his heart, he will uplift his spirit and his soul, and he will sit in the Presence of his Lord. The Prophet (s) said in an authentic hadith mentioned in Ahmad's Musnad, "The people of Dhikr are the people of My presence." So the gnostic is the one who keeps the dhikr in his heart, and leaves behind the attachments of the lower worldly life.

Proofs from the Quran...

Allah said in Surat al-Baqara, 152: "Remember Me and I will remember you." [2:152]

He said in Surat ali Imran, 41, "...and remember your Lord much and glorify Him in the evening and in the early morning."

And again, 191, "Those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides..." [3:41, 191]

He said in Surat al-Rad, 28, "Those who believe, and whose hearts find their rest in the remembrance of Allah--for, verily, in the remembrance of Allah hearts do find their rest." [13:28]

And He said in Surat al-Ahzab, 35, "...and men who remember Allah much and women who remember Him..." And again, 41,42, "O you who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance; and glorify Him morning and evening." [33: 35, 41-42]

Proofs of Sunnah..

According to Bukhari, Abu Musa al-Ashcari related that the Prophet (s) said, "The difference between the one who makes dhikr and the one who doesn't make dhikr is like the difference between the living and the dead."

Tirmidhi narrated from Anas (r) that the Prophet (s) said, "If you pass by the Paradises of Heavens stay there." They asked, "Ya Rasul-Allah, what are the Paradises of Heavens?" He said, "The associations of Dhikr!"

El Matrimonio y La mujer en el Islam...

Bismillah..

El concepto del Matrimonio desde el punto de vista islámico, no es meramente el de satisfacer aquellas necesidades que solo éste puede traer consigo, contrario a esto, el Islam ha explicado la dimensión espiritual de esta unión definiéndolo como una forma de adoración por la cual la persona puede alcanzar mayor cercanía a DIOS.

El profeta de DIOS, (pbuh) dijo: Cuando un siervo de DIOS contrae matrimonio, ha cumplido la mitad de su fe. (hadith)

Allah (gloria a El), dice en el sagrado Corán: Y de entre sus signos, es haber creado para ustedes de ustedes mismos, esposas para que vivan en tranquilidad con ellas y El ha puesto entre ustedes el afecto y la piedad. En eso hay signos para la gente que reflexiona. (Corán 30, verso 21.)

El resultado de todos los asuntos maritales debe ser paz y traqulidad. Las familias que han vivido de esta forma, estan en armonía con el motivo de su creación, por el contrario, las familias que no tienen esta manera de vivir, sus matrimonios carecen de paz, aun cuando cuentan con todo lo material para estar cómodos en esta vida, al final no entienden el propósito de su creación. Por tanto el objetivo del matrimonio puede ser cumplido unicamente si el esposo y la esposa reconocen y cumplen con el derecho de cada uno.

Allah (gloria a El) dice en el sagrado Corán:

A los musulmanes y musulmanas,

los creyentes y las creyentes,

los devotos y las devotas,

los sinceros y las sinceras,

los pacientes y las pacientes,

los humildes y las humildes,

los que dan limosna y las que dan limosna,

los que ayunan y las que ayunan,

los que guardan su castidad y las recatadas,

y los invocadoes de DIOS y las invocadoras,

DIOS les ha preparado un perdón y una recompensa magnífica.

(Corán 33, verso 35).

La mujer en el Islam la mujer es la compañera mas calificada del hombre en moldear el carácter de la familia y la sociedad.

En el Islam el ser amable con la mujer es un aspecto de la fe.

Abu Huraira (raa), reportó que el mensajero de DIOS (pbuh) dijo: Los creyentes que muestran la fe mas perfecta, son aquellos que tienen mejor disposición y los mejores de ustedes son aquellos que son mejores con sus esposas. (tirmidhi)

Abu Darda (raa) reportó al mensajero (pbuh) decir: Gasten lo mas que puedan en sus familias.

El hombre tiene la responsabilidad y obligación de mantener a su esposa sin importar que esta sea rica o pobre.

El profeta de DIOS, (pbuh) dijo: Ayudar a la esposa (en los trabajos domésticos) es como si ese hombre ha hecho una caridad (bendiciones).

El amor hacia el esposo es algo natural, pero en el Islam la mujer es recompensada por esto.

Que ALLAH nos bendiga con el entendimiento y nos ayude a realizar buenas acciones.

Ameen.

Los pilares del islam

El mensajero de Dios (pbuh) dijo:

El islam se ha construído en 5 pilares: Atestiguando que no hay diedad digna de adoración exepto Allah y que Muhammad es el mensajero de Allah, estableciendo el Salat (oración), pagando el zakaat (caridad), ayunando en el mes de Ramadan y haciendo haj (peregrinación) a mecca al menos una vez en la vida si se tienen los medios para hacerlo.

5* Hajj

HADITH..

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allaah (S) said: ‘Whoever says:

‘None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent.’ …a hundred times during the day, has the reward of freeing ten slaves, a hundred good deeds are recorded for him and a hundred bad deeds are wiped away and he has grained refuge from the devil that day until evening and none shall some with anything better except someone who has done more.’

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:

Bismilllah...


“The one who points to the good has the reward of the one who performs it.”

Narrated Abu Umamah: Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “I guarantee a home in paradise for a person who gives up arguments and disputes even if he is on the truth. And (I also guarantee) a home in the middle of Paradise for a person who gives up lying (false statements) even when joking. And (I also guarantee) a home in the highest part of Paradise for a person who has a high standard of character.” (Abu Dawud & At-Tirmidhi)

Ustadha Noura mentioned that some students had gone to Yemen to study with the Habaib and on their way back they asked for some nasiha (advice) for their travel back- Habib Ali advised them: “When you go back and you talk to people, don’t think for a minute that you are better than any of them, than a single one of them. Don’t have in your heart a sense that you are better.. [than the people they were going to encounter back at home].” He said this because it is unknown to any one of us how we will die. For us right now, our biggest blessing is having been given this beautiful deen. The worst thing that could happen to us is our deen being taken away from us (may Allah protect us and guide us). It is possible that the people we encounter could become better than us and be forgiven and it is important for us to have humility in our hearts to comprehend this statement. Habib Ali also mentioned that it is possible that the people we meet may have an excuse for what they do, whether it be misinformation or ignorance, whereas we have no excuse. We have- Alhamdulillah- been graced with ‘aql (intellect) and been given the opportunity to learn. We are accountable for all the knowledge we have and do not use. Insha’Allah our knowledge is a testament and proof for us and not against us.

Shaykh Faraz also said: “And as for rank in the Hereafter- rank in the Hereafter is not by your state now, but by the way you die. And the way you die is not known, so how can you think yourself better than anyone in any way?”-

We don’t know what will happen with us in the next few minutes, let alone the next day or on our deathbeds so how can we possibly claim any type of superiority?Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi wrote in The Path to Perfection: “Consider yourself to be most inferior, so much so that if you observe with your own eyes another indulging in the worst of vices, then too you shall not despise that person, nor shall you consider yourself nobler than him. On the contrary, one should fear and bear in mind that it is very possible that the perpetrator of the vice may resort to sincere repentance (tawba) and become a person of high piety, while the one who despised the sinner may become ensnared (Allah forbid) in the meshes of the lower self and Satan and be diverted from worship and obedience. One has no certainty regarding one’s end. Therefore, one has no basis for regarding another with contempt.”

Insha’Allah, may Allah allow us to purify our hearts and attain this level of humility.

Wake up call!!!!

Empezemos haciendo un análisis:

Cada día te despiertas, abres los ojos, caminas hacia el baño, te cepillas, te bañas, te desayunas talvez y haces esas cosas que forman parte de tu cotidianindad. Tienes la oportunidad de hacerlas día tras día, como hoy por ejemplo, ahí estas a lo mejor cansado/a, tuviste la oportunidad de compartir con los tuyos o talvez solo con los compañeros de trabajo, en fin, hiciste lo de siempre, quizas lamentar la situación de nuestro país, (terrible por cierto),
alguna preocupación que te agobie en particular, entre otras cosas, pudiste comer, beber algo y ahí estás, leyendo este artículo, el asunto es saber si te has dado cuenta de que hay algo más por hacer, un buen baño y dormir y mañana lo mismo , ahora bien, a lo mejor si, pero.. has pensado en que hay personas que hoy no pueden abrir los ojos, caminar hacia el baño, desayunar, compartir con los suyos, que quizás no pueden ver, no hablan, tienen alguna parálisis, algun síndrome, aquellos que no comparten aquella rutina contigo, ahora piensa en que tienes mucho que agradecer y que quizás ahora te des cuenta que mas que rutina, es dicha, bendición, es saber que hay alguien que cada día te da una nueva oportunidad.

Que te hace pensar que estarás vivo en los próximos 20 minutos, o mañana? no has pensado en que mientras sueñas tu alma esta ausente? que es solo tu cuerpo, sino, como explicaríamos el hecho de que a veces con las pesadillas sientes dolor, te agitas y sientes miedo, a veces hasta despertamos llorando, sientes que te caes y cuando despiertas ves que tu cuerpo está ahí igual que antes... podría ser que DIOS elija ese momento para quedarse con tu alma, dicho esto, sería bueno enfocarnos en aquello importante, en el por qué de estar aqui, a qué vinimos al mundo, ciertamente no a trabajar todo el tiempo, hacer una carrera y luego morir.

Es tiempo de empezar a trabajar en nuestro interior, a buscar respuestas, a entender que a veces no contamos con segundas oportunidades y que quizas ahora la tienes en tus manos...

Finalmente, pensemos un poco en ese alguien maravilloso que siempre esta ahí, vigilante, atento, esperando que le busques, que le digas tus inquietudes, preocupaciones, aunque las sabe quiere que seas humilde y recorras a EL, no temas....... es ALLAH.
